History

Frank Wright started his own footwear business from a small workshop in Kettering, Northamptonshire in 1885. Mr Wright originally made peg sole boots for the British Armed Forces, but with a little investment and product diversification the brand moved into a more fashionable product offering.  By the 1960s Frank Wright was perceived as one of the first fashion icon brands, cementing its place in history as a style leader.

Today Frank Wright builds on its rich heritage, creating stylish products that are at the forefront of trends offering a mix of casual and smart looks.  Renowned for attention to detail, Frank Wright uses contemporary materials and pops of bright colours to appeal to the modern guy. Classic designs are paired with new contemporary shapes to create a fusion of everyday wearable designs, to add a fresher seasonal look.
