From a boutique full of killer heels manufactured under lesser known designer brands and one befitting New Bond Street or the Kings Road rather than a small, historic, market town, Nicola Sexton strove to meet customer demands.

Nicola realised there was a gap in the market for comfortable but chic pumps and wedges so set to work creating her own label.

With precision and quality uppermost in her mind, Nicola sourced her manufacturer from Italy confident that each shoe would meet her customers’ expectations. Indeed, the Nicola Sexton collection is currently the most popular range in her boutique with the volume of sales hitting over 300 pairs a season.

Designs include the so successful ballerina style pump, created in an assortment of colours and adorned with pretty bows and buckles.  However the demand for an elevated heel was soon apparent and so came the introduction of the low heeled pump.

The defining moment for Nicola was the introduction of a perfectly crafted wedge, incorporating a wide fit and adding extra comfort without compromising on style. Using the softest leather and suede in a variety of modern, fresh colours, the wedge is a mode of all things practical and sophisticated.

The response to these alternative pumps was extraordinary. Nicola had managed to produce functional yet elegant shoes that would follow season after season.  A creative mix of leather, patent and suede with subtle decoration and finished to the highest quality, she realised the final design of her three core styles had been accomplished.
